Sylvester Moore, 40, Injured in Pedestrian Accident in Stockton
Stockton, California (February 27, 2017) – According to a CHP report, a 40-year-old pedestrian was injured after he was hit by a vehicle Sunday evening in Stockton.
The incident occurred at about 6.40 p.m. at the intersection of Interstate 5 Freeway and Monte Diablo Avenue.
The victim, identified as Sylvester Moore, was crossing the street from the center divider when he was struck by a black Buick SUV. Reportedly, Moore had walked away when the driver of the involved vehicle came to check on him.
Officers found Moore at his home bleeding from his back and took him to a hospital immediately for treatment.
Authorities are still investigating the incident to determine the cause.
